Yesterday, Beth El's 9th grade delegation to Israel
returned after an amazing 10 days of exploring Israel and connecting with the
9th graders at our sister school, Hugim, in Haifa. This journey to Israel was
part of Beth El's Boston-Haifa Connection project, entitled Project HiBuR, Hugim-Beth
El Relationship, and was greatly supported by a grant from the CJP. The teens
on the trip were Elicia Epstein, Justin Fitzpatrick, Zack Michel, Melanie
Pollock, Mark Putterman, and Daniel Strauss. They were accompanied by David
List and David Strauss. In the upcoming months the whole congregation will be
hearing more about their terrific trip and ways that we plan to further deepen
our connection with Hugim High School. In the mean time, you can read about
